DEFINITIONS
High purity tungsten wire (99.95% tungsten), enriched with K20, Si02 and Al203, gives physical qualities (tear resistance, Specific resistance, surface roughness).
A layer of graphite covers the surface of the tungsten wire and gives him a matt black aspect.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
The resistant tungsten wires are intended for the production of heated laminated glass for automotive market
These tungsten wires are bounded on PVB sheet by means of local heating and pressure.
Prepared PVB sheets are assembled inside bended glass for final products
Physical Properties
The electric resistance of the tungsten wire has a tolerance of +/-3 % of its nominal value. The resistance of the wire is defined as the resistance measured at 20°C
